10 TIPS TO MAKE YOUR HOME INCREDIBLE!

 

Essential oils have the power to purify, sanitize and perfume the house and more particularly the kitchen.

The Rose

Place some green clay in a cup and pour a few drops of rose essential oil on it. Renew the oil regularly to make the perfume last and absorb bad odors.

The lemon

You can pour a few drops on the sponge you use to clean the counter or household appliances.

When cleaning your kitchen floor, put a few drops of this essential oil in the rinse water or on the mop.

Lavender

Place a cotton ball soaked in a few drops of lavender at the bottom of your garbage bin or put some in a diffuser to spread a pleasant scent in your kitchen.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus essential oil is antibacterial and antiseptic, you can put it in the washing water for the floor or in the vacuum cleaner bag.

2.  LEMON

To eliminate unpleasant cooking smells, squeeze a whole lemon and bring the juice to a boil with a little water and cloves. You will see that this trick considerably reduces bad odors.

3. ORANGE PEELS

They have a deodorizing power and you can perfume your kitchen with a good citrus smell. All you have to do is put a few orange peels in your oven and heat it for a few minutes at 180°.

4. THYME

It's a grandmother's trick that has survived the decades and is still used today. To remove persistent odors in a kitchen, boil ½ liter of water and add 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried thyme. The odors will fade and eventually disappear completely.

5. CINNAMON

Cinnamon is particularly good for removing odors when cooking fish. To get rid of it, put a stick of cinnamon in the equivalent of a bowl of water and heat the mixture in a saucepan. The fumes will absorb the smell of cooked fish, as if by magic.

6. WHITE VINEGAR

Vinegar is in all the tricks when it comes to making your interior shine. It is therefore no surprise that you find it in this list to eliminate odors in the kitchen.

To absorb the bad smells of fish or various preparations, put a bowl filled with white vinegar on your work surface. You can put vinegar in a saucepan and put it on high heat to bring to 

a boil. The white vinegar fumes make odors disappear, as if by magic.

7. BAKING SODA

Baking soda is a flagship product in home maintenance and thanks to its disinfectant properties, remove odors from your trash can. To do this, you must throw a little baking soda powder at the bottom of the garbage bin, before putting the garbage bag in place.

8. COFFEE GROUNDS

Coffee grounds are used to unclog the pipes and clean them. Thus, you get rid of bad odors linked to food residues. Simply pour coffee grounds into the bottom of the sink and run very hot water over it.

9. ARMENIA PAPER

This is one of the few tricks to get rid of burning odors, but it is advisable not to abuse it, as it contains substances that can be dangerous in the event of strong exposure.  It is best to ventilate at the same time.

10. WHITE CLAY

Thanks to its strong deodorizing power, white clay is ideal for cleaning up a house and absorbing bad smells. You can also use it in shoe cabinets, at the bottom of the trash can, and even in the fridge.
