Coconut Cake with Seven-minute Frosting!!!

 





INGREDIENTS:


°1-1/2 tsp. Sugar,

°2 tablespoons of corn syrup,

°1/4 tsp water,

°6 egg whites,

° C. Vanilla


 


* Methods :


1. In a heatproof bowl of an electric mixer, combine all the ingredients (except the vanilla) and place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.

2. Whisk the mixture until it reaches 160 degrees using a candy or instant read thermometer.

3. Transfer the mixing bowl to your blender and, using the whisk, beat on high until stiff, shiny peaks form (about 6 minutes).

4.Whisk the vanilla. Immediately frost the cake.

Wendy's-Chili

 




Ingredients :


°2 lb beef ground 85/15

°29 oz can tomato sauce

°29 oz un-drained can kidney beans

° 29 oz un-drained can pinto beans

° 28 oz chop can tomatoes (undrained)

°1 yellow onion

°1 diced jalapeno, seeded and deveined

°2 chopped celery stalks

°1 chopped green pepper

°1 tablespoon of ground cumin

°1/4 cup chilli powder

°1 teaspoon of black pepper

°2 teaspoons of salt

°1 cup of water

°1 tablespoon of butter


*Methods :


In a heavy-bottomed casserole dish, brown the minced meat.

Drain the fat.

Adding rest of ingredients (except butter) & bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low & cooking uncovered (please keep heat low) for 2 h, stir occasionally.

Adding butter & stir to totally melt & incorporated.

Serving.

*Coconut Cream Pie*

 





Ingredients

°1 shortcrust pastry
°250g coconut grated
°200g of sugar
°2 eggs
°25cl coconut milk
°10cl white rum

* Methods:

Line a pie tin with the shortcrust pastry and prick with a fork.

In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk.

Then add the sugar and whisk until the mixture is smooth.

Remove from the heat then add the grated coconut and mix.

FRIED-CABBAGE (WITH BACON, ONION, & GARLIC)

 




Ingredients

  

  °5 thick slices of bacon, cut into small pieces

  °1 large onion, chopped

  °2 minced garlic cloves or more to taste

  °1 medium headed cabbage, shredded or chopped

  °1 teaspoon paprika

  °1 pinch of white sugar

  °salt to taste

  °black pepper to taste


*Step by step


Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove bacon and set aside. Add onion and garlic and cook in bacon fat until onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Stirring in cabbage, paprika, sugar, salt also pepper; mixing to combine. Cooking for about 10 minutes.

Stir the cooked bacon into the skillet with the cabbage mixture. Simmer on low heat to cabbage reaches desire consistency, 20 to 30 mn. Serve hot or lukewarm.

Banana Bread Brownies

 





Ingredients :

°2 bananas
°250g dark pastry chocolate
°120g sugar
°150g butter
°3 eggs
°60g flour
°1 sachet of vanilla sugar

* Methods:

Preheat oven 180°C
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and add the butter
Whisk the whole eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar
Mash the bananas with a fork. and add them to the melted chocolate with the butter. Mix a little
Add the sugared eggs and mix well.
Add the flour, the dough should be glossy. Mix the flour well with the other ingredients, the brownie will not crumble once baked
Butter a mold (preferably square) then place a spoon of flour in it. Shake well in all directions so that the flour settles on the butter. The brownie will not stick to the dish.
Pour the mix into the mold.
Place the dish in the oven for 30 minutes.
Once the time has elapsed, remove the dish from the oven. Let the brownie cool and refrigerate for 1 hour.
When the time is up, take the banana brownie out of the fridge and cut it into small squares.
Optional: Sprinkle with icing sugar

*Chicken with Creamed Spinach & Bacon & Mushrooms*

 




I have already proposed a similar recipe with spinach and one with paprika, this time I tested an express version for the days when we lack time. Preparation takes no more than 5 minutes for an original result.
 
*Ingredients

°Chicken cutlets
°Bacon slices
°Garlic and herb fresh cheese
°grated cheese
 
Slice the escalopes in the thickness without cutting them.
Fill the hollows obtained with the fromage frais and the bacon cut into strips, alternating.
Place the cutlets on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 20 minutes at 200°.
5 minutes before the end of cooking, sprinkle with grated cheese.

Salisbury Steak Garlic Mashed Potatoes Mushroom & Onion gravy

 






Ingredients :


°280g Ground beef

°0.5unit Yellow onion

°110gWhite mushroom

°1unit Garlic clove

°500g Yellow potato

°120ml Green peas

°30ml Demi-glace

°15ml steak spice


* Methods:


1. Cook potatoes

Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Put in a saucepan and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to boil & cooking for 12-15 mn to tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk to taste. Salt and pepper. Keep warm.

2. Setup

Thinly slice the onion and mushrooms. Chop the garlic. Put the demi-glace in 1 2P 1.5 3P cups of water.

3. Bake the patties

Mix the ground beef with the steak spices, salt and pepper. Form one patty per person. Heat drizzle of oil in skillet on medium-high heat. Cook the patties 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet.

4. Cook the vegetables

Add the onion, mushrooms and garlic to the skillet. Cook 4-5 minutes. Salt and pepper. Add the demi-glace and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium, add the patties to the pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

5. Cook the peas

Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Cook the green peas for 1-2 minutes. Drain. Mix with butter to taste, salt and pepper.

6. Mount the plate

Serve the patties and sauce with the mashed potatoes and green peas. For some children, mushrooms are not appetizing. It may take several exposures to taste it, but don't give up, they can smell it, handle it and prepare it themselves.

Pickled Beets

 

Ingredients


°760 g (5 cups) baby beets

°335 ml (1 1/3 cups) white pearl onions

+FOR THE SPICE BAG

°1/2 cinnamon stick, crushed

°5 ml (1 tsp.) coriander seeds

°5 ml (1 tsp) green cardamom pods, crushed

°3 ml (1/2 tsp.) cloves

°3 ml (1/2 tsp) allspice, crushed

°A pinch of nutmeg, crushed

+FOR THE MARINADE

°500 ml (2 cups) white vinegar

°10 ml (2 tsp.) pickling salt

°250 ml (1 cup) sugar

°250 ml (1 cup) of water

Good to know !

°One serving is equivalent to a 750ml jar.


*Preparation

PREPARATION OF VEGETABLES:

Wash the beets using a soft brush. Leave the tops and tails. In a large saucepan, place the beets and cover with water. Bring to boil, lower heat & simmer. The beets are ready when the skin slides off easily and they peel by hand.

Transfer beets to a large container of ice water to cool, then drain. Cut the tops and tails. Peel the beets then cut them into 1 cm (1/2 in.) thick slices.

In a small saucepan of boiling water, blanch the onions for 2 minutes, drain, then peel.

FOR THE SPICE BAG:

Place all the ingredients from the spice bag in a cheesecloth.

FOR THE MARINADE:

Heat all marinade ingredients in a large pot and stir to dissolve. Stir in the bag of spices, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat and leave to macerate for 20 minutes. Remove the bag of spices from the marinade and drain it by pressing it against a ladle.

CANNED PREPARATION:

Add the beets and onions to the marinade, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the beets and onions to sterilized Mason jars. Fill the jars by packing the vegetables a little and leaving 2.5 cm (1 in.) of space under the neck.

Add the marinade to the jars, leaving 1 cm (1/2 in) of space under the neck. Seal the jars according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Easy Pecan Pie

 




Ingredients :


°1 c sugar

°1/2 c corn syrup

°1/2 c melt butter

°3 eggs, beat

°1 c pecan

°1 pie crust


*Methods :


Preheat oven 325°F (162°C). Blending sugar, syrup also melt butter. Adding eggs & pecans. Blending well. Pour to pie crust (which is on a pie pan). Cooking about 1 h. Freeze very well!

Red Velvet Cake










INGREDIENTS:

°300g sugar
°300g flour
°35 cl of oil
°25 cl buttermilk)
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°3 cl of red food coloring
°2 eggs
°1 tablespoon cocoa
°1 teaspoon(s) of salt
°1 teaspoon baking soda
°1 teaspoon(s) of vinegar
+For the topping
 °225g philadelphia cream cheese
°115g unsalted butter
°450g icing sugar
°1 teaspoon vanilla

*PREPARATION

Prepare two round molds lined with lightly buttered and floured parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
Sift together flour, cocoa also salt.
Mixing buttermilk, vanilla also red food coloring.
In  food processor, beating sugar, oil, eggs 1 by 1, half flour, adding very red buttermilk also the other half of flour.
In separate container, mixing vinegar also baking soda & adding it to dough at the last moment.
Finally, divided dough to two molds and bake.
After half an 1h, push a toothpick to cake, it should come out with crumbs.
Leave to cool for 5 mn also unmold.
+The topping:
In  food processor, beating butter, adding vanilla also cream cheese.
While it is very soft, adding icing sugar to mix is very light also very white.
Cover the first cake with a third of the topping, place the other cake on top and cover the entire cake with the rest of the topping.

HOMEMADE LEMON MERINGUE PIE

 


This is the great lemon meringue pie! A tangy, creamy lemon custard filling topped with a mile-high meringue sauce. Make this every time you need a great dessert.

*  ingredients :

° 1 cup white sugar
° 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
° three tablespoons cornstarch
° 1/4 teaspoon salt
° 1 half cups water
° 2 lemons, squeezed and grated
° 2 tablespoons butter
° four egg yolks, scrambled
° 1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked
° four egg whites
° 6 tablespoons white sugar

* Directions :

Preheaat oven 350 degrees
To make the lemon filling: In a medium saucepan, whisk collectively 1 cup sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Adding water, lemon juice & lemon peel. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till combination boils. Stir in butter. Place the egg yolks in a small bowl and progressively beat in ½ cup of the new sugar combination. Whisk the egg yolk combination again with the rest of the sugar combination. Bring the combination to a boil and keep to cook, stirring constantly, till thickened. Remove from heat. Pour the filling into the baked pastry crust.
To make the meringue: In a large glass or metallic bowl, whisk the egg whites till foamy. Gradually add sugar and keep to beat till stiff peaks form. Spread the meringue at the pie, to seal the edges on the crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or till meringue is golden brown.

Best Coconut Cream Pie 😋👌

 





Ingredients


° 1 shortcrust pastry,

° 400ml coconut milk,

° 150g sugar,

° 200g grated coconut,

° 2 eggs,

° A tsp vanilla extract,

° 50ml rum.



*Preparation:


• In a pie dish, lay out the shortcrust pastry, remembering to make small holes in it. Start your oven at 200°C and place the dough in it for blind baking for 10 minutes (time to prepare the cream).


• Heat the coconut milk in a saucepan over low heat then add the sugar. Mix until it has completely melted.

• Off heat, add the grated coconut.

• Whisking whole eggs in a separate container and add them to the preparation.

• Adding rum and vanilla extract.

• Pour mixture over the soblée pastry which should normally have taken on a pretty golden color when blind-cooked.

KFC'S SECRET CHICKEN RECIPE

 






Ingredients : 


°2/3 tsp. salt

°12c. tsp thyme (powder)

°1/2c. tablespoon basil (powder)

°1/3c. oregano (powder)

°1 C. celery salt

°1 C. black pepper

°1 C. powdered mustard

°4c. paprika

°2c. garlic salt

°1 C. ground ginger

°3c. white pepper

°1 C. tablespoon monosodium glutamate (optional)

°475g wheat flour

°1 beaten egg

°1 chicken cut into pieces

°235ml buttermilk

°oil


*Preparation


1. Mix herbs, spices and flour together. To book.

2. Mixing buttermilk also beaten egg. Marinated chicken in this mix, at room temperature, for 20 to 30 mn.

3. Removing chicken from marinade. Make the breadcrumbs: stir the pieces in the flour-herb-spice mixture (they must be well coated). Let the pieces rest on a plate at room temperature for 20 mn.

Fried Fish

 




Ingredients

  

°5 fish steaks

°1 teaspoon chilli powder (or paprika)

°½ teaspoon turmeric powder

°Salt

°Oil for frying


*Preparation

  

Squeeze the fish steaks well between several layers of paper towel to squeeze out all the water.

  Mix the spices and marinate the steaks in this mixture (at least 10 minutes).

° cream cheese (soft)
°1 stick (4 oz) butter
°1 box (1 pound) icing sugar (about 3 3/4 cups unsifted)
°1 teaspoon of vanilla
°1 to 2 t of milk or cream
+Topping:
°1/4 cup pecans or walnuts (chop)

* Methods :

Heat grill to 350 F. Spread and flour three 8-inch cake pans. Separate the five eggs by placing the egg whites in a treated steel or glass bowl. Beat egg whites to firm up pinnacle structure; set aside.Consolidate flour and pop in bowl; Mix well and set aside. °1 cup brown sugar
°1 Texan toast
°4 eggs
°1 1/2 cup milk
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°Powder sugar about sprinkle
 
*Directions

Melting butter in the microwave also adding brown sugar…stir until mixed.
Pour butter/sugar mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 mould….spreading around
Beating egg milk also vanilla
Spreading single layer of Texas Toast in pan
Pour 1/2 of egg mixture on bread layer
Adding 2nd layer of Texas Toast
Pour in the rest egg mixture
Covering and chill in the fridge overnight
Baking at 350 for 45 min (cover for first 30 min)
Sprinkling with powder sugar
Serving with hot maple syrup

White Chocolate Caramel Fudge*

 







Ingredients :

°3 c white chocolate chips
°1 can (300ml) condensed milk
°4 tsp butter
°1/2 t vanilla
°1 cup  pecans
°1/2 c (125 ml) caramel sauce 

*Preparation :

In a medium microwave-safe bowl, placing white chocolate, butter also condensed milk. Cooking about 1 min 30 sec & blend well. Cook another 15 seconds and mix well. Keeping in 15 sec increments to chocolate is melted also mixture is smooth. Adding vanilla extract also pecans. Blending well. Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) Pyrex dish with a sheet of parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish to it is about 1 inch thick. Pour a good lick of caramel on top. Placing in fridge until firm & set. Cut to one-inch pieces & stored in an airtight container!
