Biscuits-Buttermilk-&-sausage gravy*

 




Ingredients:

+For buttermilk cookies:
°1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (375 ml)
°1 cup quick oats (250 mL)
°1 t of baking-powder (15 ml)
°1/2 t baking-soda (2.5 ml)
°1 teaspoon of white sugar (5 ml)
°1/2 teaspoon of salt (2.5 ml)
°6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes (90 ml)
°1 cup buttermilk (250 ml)
+For the sauce:
°12 oz turkey  sausages
°1 tsp canola oil optional (15 ml)
°1/3 c oat flour (75 ml)
°1/2 tsp of salt (2.5 ml)
°1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (1 ml)
°1/4 tsp dried thyme (1 ml)
°3 c cold milk (750 ml)

*Methods

For biscuits:
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) degrees.
In a mix bowl, whisk flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, sugar / salt.

Beef Liver & Onions

 


Ingredients

°2 slices of beef liver
°1 glass of monbazillac
°Onion
°1 C. at s. meat stock
°1 C. c. olive oil
°Salt or fine salt
°Pepper


Peel the onion and chop very finely.

Cut the livers into thin strips.

Heat the oil and sauté the onion.

Once it is a little melted, add the livers, mix.

Then sprinkle with salt, pepper and meat stock.

Pour the wine, mix.

Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

Cheddar Cheese Bread*

 





Ingredients:

°2 cups flour
°4 teaspoons baking powder
°1 tablespoon sugar
°1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
°1/2 teaspoon salt
°1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
°1 cup milk
°1 large egg
°2 tablespoons butter
 
*instructions:

The oven  preheated to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt. Stir in the grated cheese. Put aside.
In other bowl, whisking the milk, eggs, & butter.
Add the liquid ingredients to the bowl of the dried ingredients. Stir to add only. Don't get overly confused.
Spoon / pour into a loaf pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes. The top should be golden.
Cool on wire rack. Remove the bread to the skillet, cut into slices and serve.

INGREDIENTS
  
°3 c un-sweetened shredded coconut
°14 oz sweetened condensed milk
°15 oz dark chocolate 

*Methods:

*INSTRUCTIONS

INGREDIENTS-:

° Two tablespoons minced garlic
° teaspoon
° Lemon juice
° Red onion
° Parsley cubes
° Salt and Pepper

°200ml dry white wine

°2 tbsp. at s. olive oil
°2 tbsp. c. flat-leaf parsley
°Salt
°Pepper

Peel and mince the shallots

Wash, dry and slice the mushrooms

Prepare the hot chicken broth

In a skillet, brown in olive oil for 3 minutes, without browning

Add and cook for 2 mins

Add the wine and the chicken broth to the sauté pan

Cook for 10 minutes over low heat and uncovered

In an oiled frying pan, brown the turkey breasts

When the meat is nicely browned, add the so-l'y-laisse to the mushrooms, season with pepper and continue cooking for 10 minutes.

Add the chopped parsley and set aside

In the skillet, deglaze with 2 tbsp. at s. of white wine and the mustard and mix well, salt and pepper

°12 slices of bacon
°Salt & pepper
Salad :
°1 lettuce
°200g cheese
°2 tbsp vinegar

Ingredients

°375 ml (1 1/2 cups) 2% milk
°250 ml (1 cup) flour
°30 ml (2 tbsp.) melted butter
°5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
